It never stumbles at these temps or it recovers fast enough to not misfire, stumble and die. The sweet spot for trouble is around 13-15*F up to 22-25*F, with the car at those ambient temps.Your starting problem is most likely related to this. The problem is the fuel pump. Fuel pumps contain a check valve which is supposed to help in maintaining fuel pressure. It will eventually leak and lose pressure but that is supposed to happen very slowly and over a long period of time.
